Why this course exists
Search changed. Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, along with assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, increasingly answer questions directly, often before anyone clicks a link. Ranking a page is no longer enough; you also need to be the source the AI quotes. This course exists to teach that skill clearly, with practical steps rather than hype.
What you get
- A structured 7-module course from fundamentals to advanced GEO.
- In-depth guides on AI Overviews, query fan-out, structured data, and more.
- Copy-paste schema, checklists, and real examples you can apply to a live page today.
Our approach
Everything here is grounded in how AI search actually retrieves and synthesizes answers: query fan-out, sentence-level extraction, and source trust. We favor plain language, concrete examples, and techniques you can verify yourself.
One principle runs through every page: we separate what Google documents from what SEOs merely observe. Where a tactic is unproven, we say so and label the guess. You will not find invented statistics or a secret "AI ranking score" here, because neither exists.
Who writes this
The AI SEO Course is written and maintained by the content and SEO team at Meetanshi, a software and digital commerce company that has published practical SEO material since 2015. The team works on live client and in-house sites across Google organic search and the newer AI surfaces, and the guides here are drawn from that day-to-day testing rather than from theory.
Every guide is reviewed before publishing against a simple bar: is each claim either something a search engine has documented, or something we have observed ourselves and labelled as an observation? Pages are dated and updated as the field changes, which in AI search is often.
- What we do: run and measure real pages, read the primary documentation from Google and the AI platforms, and translate it into steps you can apply.
- What we don't do: sell a tool, gate anything behind an email, or claim certainty where the evidence is thin.
Spotted something you think is wrong or out of date? That is genuinely useful to us. The site is built to be corrected, and accuracy matters more to us than looking certain.
A note on community. This course was shaped by conversations in the wider AI search community, including the generous, experiment-driven folks at AI SEO Rainmakers. Their transparent, results-first culture is a great example of how learning AI SEO in public can accelerate everyone, and we happily recommend it to anyone who wants to go deeper.
Our editorial standards
AI SEO is a field with more opinions than evidence, so we hold every page to a few rules that are easy to state and harder to follow:
- Source or label. A claim is either backed by primary documentation from Google or an AI platform, or it is flagged as our own observation or a hypothesis. We do not blur the two. The clearest example is our page on AI search ranking factors, which sorts every factor into documented, observed, or unknown.
- No invented numbers. If we cannot verify a statistic against its source, we leave it out rather than repeat it. Where a figure is a third-party study, we say whose and note whether it is causal or merely correlational.
- Dated and revisited. Every guide carries a date and is updated as guidance changes. In AI search that happens often; the FAQ-rich-result removal and the llms.txt walk-back both landed within months.
- Plain language. If a concept can be explained without jargon, it is. Terms are defined where they first appear.
How we test what we teach
The techniques here are not theory assembled from other blog posts. They come from running real pages and watching what AI search does with them: which sub-queries a prompt fans out into, which passages get lifted into an answer, and which pages get named versus merely ranked. When a tactic stops working, the guide that recommended it gets corrected, not quietly left up.
That is also why the course is structured the way it is. Fundamentals first, because a page that cannot be crawled cannot be cited; then retrieval, writing, structure, measurement, and authority, in the order they actually depend on each other. The how to learn AI SEO guide lays out that sequence and the reasoning behind it.
What this is not
It is not a sales funnel. There is no paid tier, no certificate to buy, and no email required to read anything. We will point you to paid options when they genuinely fit, and we compare several honestly in AI SEO courses compared, including where a paid community is the better choice than free self-study. The goal of this site is to be the resource we wish had existed when AI search started eating traffic, not to convert you into anything.
